Printwear & Promotion Live!, which takes place in Hall 20 at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from Sunday 26 February to Tuesday 28 February, is promising to be the biggest and best yet. That’s why the organisers are encouraging visitors to beat the queues on the day, by registering in advance for free, fast track entry – “just turn up, have your ticket scanned and you’re in!”
In addition to all the leading that names that exhibit year-on-year, there are a number of companies exhibiting for the first time, including, Rainstar, Stormtech, The Outdoors Company, Kariban, and Longforte Sublimation Blanks.
Event director, Tony Gardner, comments: “The printwear market is a very upbeat and optimistic place to be at the moment. The substantial growth of the show over the last four to five years now means that we need to move into a bigger space, so Hall 20 at the NEC will be our new home this year.”
A number of key companies will be unveiling new equipment and technology for the first time at the show. Visitors will also benefit from on-stand product demonstrations and there will be a wealth of advice available on topics such as DTG printing, transfer printing, screen printing and marketing.
The seminar suite will welcome a host expert speakers, including Joe Wigzell of Roland DG (discussing the benefits of offering a personalisation service), and Bernhard Nitsche, of CADlink (offering an introduction to design software for garment decoration). Other talks include: Harnessing print-on-demand for your e-commerce business; Superior sublimation for apparel; Go social: How to drive more sales and customer retention using social and digital marketing; Quality in, quality out – how to optimise the print result for direct to garment printing and more.
In addition, The Screen Print Workshop is returning for a second year and will cover a range of topics for beginners and experts alike, while the popular Bag & Headwear Decoration Advice stand is the place to go for advice on how to decorate those tricky items, with opportunities for visitors to see demos and try it for themselves.
The fashion shows sponsored by Regatta will take place three times daily, showcasing the latest printwear styles. Brands taking to the stage will include Regatta Activewear, Trespass, Regatta Standout, So Denim by AWDis, United Brands of Scandinavia, Comfort Colours, Fruit of the Loom, and Regatta Professional.
The show is open from 10am – 5pm on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 February, and from 10am – 4pm on Tuesday 28 February.
